AwiGossip I/2023

Energy Decentral, Hall 25, Stand D23, orange column... there was something there.

Dear visitors to the exhibition,

don’t worry, you haven’t missed anything yet. We would like to take the opportunity of the new year to thank you all once again for the great interest in our products, the numerous visits and conversations at our booth, the good mood despite the high level of uncertainty at the time and a party-like gin evening. Our expectations of the event were more than fulfilled. In addition to all these positive impressions, we also very much enjoyed our own team trip to the fair and back, as well as life in the tour bus and on the camping site directly in front of the fair, and even more your positive reactions to what might have seemed a somewhat crazy implementation of a visit to the fair.

Now the time has come, the fairy godmother has struck and chosen a winner from the pool of tickets that have found their way into our orange secret column.

The Winner is: JULIA RIEDL. And what is in store for the winner? On the one hand, Ms Riedl can look forward to the physical handover of the prize and exercise patience. On the other hand, as you have all noticed, we let our latest development from Awite, which is on its way to series production, get a taste of the wide world in Hanover. We are looking forward to handing over the first Awi2GO from series production to the lucky winner in the next few months.

Congratulations and have fun when the time comes.

The 4000th gas analysis from Awite

On 10 January, the time had finally come. The 4,000th gas analysis unit started its service with Mr. Fleischmann, Mr. Kerscher and Mr. Bleibrunner. This is an AwiFLEX that was sold to Biogas Wörth GmbH. With two measuring points and all important sensors (CH4, CO2, O2, H2S and H2), it is ideally suited to permanently monitor the entire process from the fermenter to the CHPs. By selecting an H2S sensor in the measuring range 0…200ppm, the activated carbon filter can be reliably monitored for breakthrough. The combination with an AwiFLOW gas flow sensor enables Mr Fleischmann, Kerscher and Bleibrunner to document their produced gas quantities in the future.

The plant, built in 2011, is flexibilised to 950kW and relies on a diverse mix of substrates. These include cattle slurry, pig slurry, cattle manure, silage maize, grass silage, green rye silage, triticale silage, intermixed silphia and sweet sorghum.

The commissioning of the unit was celebrated at a Bavarian morning pub with veal sausage. Friends and business partners of the operator came together and spent the morning in a cosy atmosphere.

We thank Mr. Fleischmann, Kerscher and Bleibrunner for the order and wish them much joy with the device.

4 times 10 years

We were privileged to toast together 4 times last year to celebrate the 10-year anniversaries of our loyal colleagues.

  • Thanks to our project manager Stefan, “Holzi” Holzner.
  • Thanks to our IT and database icon Markus, “Toni” Groß
  • Thanks to the packaging artist Saša, “Christo” Bogičević
  • Thanks to Andi, “Vollgas” Duller

Andi supported us with full commitment and heart and soul for 10 years. It was with a heavy heart, however, that we had to part ways. Andi can now finally use his full energy for his own family, agriculture and biogas plant. We wish you all the best and hope that you will continue to accompany us at trade fairs.

Thank you to the four of you for 40 years of tireless commitment to Awite, to our products, customers and to renewable energies.

It’s great to have such friends and colleagues.
