Out of the 195 countries worldwide, at least one gas analysis system from Awite is already installed in 77 countries. From South Africa to Norway to Chile, gas quality is an important topic.
Together with our sales and service partners, the world has been increasingly illuminated in Awite orange for over 25 years. This development would not have been possible without the close cooperation and trust of our long-standing partners. For this, we would like to express our sincere thanks.
We are pleased that the use of renewable gases is continuously growing worldwide and that, together, we can make our small contribution to a sustainable energy supply.
Together with our partners, we also aim to reach further countries in the coming years and gradually reduce the white spots on the world map.
Review: IFAT Munich 2026: Awite at the joint stand of the German Biogas Association
IFAT Munich 2026 was a complete success for us. From 4 to 7 May, we were represented at the joint stand of the German Biogas Association and were able to hold numerous valuable discussions with trade visitors from Germany and abroad.
As a developer and manufacturer of gas analysis systems for biogas plants and other process gases, we were able to present our full product range. This includes stationary gas analysis systems for continuous measurement of gas composition, mobile gas analysis systems for flexible on-site measurements, as well as additional solutions. Our portfolio is complemented by biological desulphurisation, lab facilities and flow measurement systems. In addition, we ensure seamless support through our service team, which provides comprehensive assistance to our customers.
At the trade fair, we offered a comprehensive insight into the wide range of applications for our systems and gained exciting perspectives on current developments in the industry.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all visitors who contributed to making our stand such a success. Your interest, time and open exchange made the exhibition a particularly lively and inspiring event for us.
We take with us a great sense of gratitude for the many valuable contacts, interesting conversations and positive feedback. They made these days unforgettable for us.

Groundbreaking Ceremony: March 23, 2026 – Building Expansion at our Langenbach Site
We are excited to share that we have entered the next phase of our company’s future. In the second half of March 2026, we officially broke ground on the expansion of our workshop and office building in Langenbach. This milestone marks a significant step in our ongoing growth and long-term strategic development.
The expansion will add approximately 750 m² of floor space, creating additional capacity for our production lines as well as modern office workstations. This project provides the foundation for us to continue delivering the high standards of quality you have come to expect from us well into the future.
Needless to say, we are placing a strong emphasis on sustainable, future-oriented construction. Like our existing facilities, the new building will be a high-quality timber construction, designed to meet the latest energy efficiency standards. The concept includes heating via a heat pump, an additional photovoltaic system with battery storage, and new EV charging stations.
With this investment, we are strengthening our operational capabilities and creating room for further sustainable growth—for you, our customers, and for the continuous evolution of our products.
We look forward to the journey ahead and will be happy to share more updates as the project progresses.
On Site in Brazil: Insights into Projects and Partnerships
In April this year, Managing Director Martin Grepmeier and Johanna Barth, Head of Field Service, travelled to Brazil to visit the Brazilian subsidiary.
Together with Christian Etzkorn, Managing Director of Awite Sistemas de Análise de Gases Ltda., their first stop was São Paulo, where the team visited an important customer.
Direct dialogue with customers is a key success factor. Important topics were already discussed at the office before, on the following day, the team gained impressive insights into the landfill facility in Paulínia. Among other things, a PSA plant is used there to upgrade up to 20,000 m³/h of landfill gas into biomethane through a multi-stage process.
Safety is a major consideration in Brazil, which made the team all the more grateful for the support and equipment provided by our customer. Many thanks for the fascinating insights and the excellent collaboration!
The journey then continued to Florianópolis, home to the Brazilian subsidiary, Awite Ltda. Following a warm welcome from the local team, the evening was spent enjoying an initial professional exchange in a relaxed atmosphere. The subsequent weekend also provided an opportunity to explore the surroundings of Florianópolis in more detail.
The trip concluded in Foz do Iguaçu, host city of this year’s Southern Brazilian Biogas and Biomethane Forum. There, the team engaged in intensive discussions with renowned customers and manufacturers from across the industry. Alongside a range of insightful presentations, numerous interested visitors were introduced to the latest product innovations, including the mobile measuring device Awi2GO.
Another particular highlight was the presentation by Sofia Paoli of Awite Ltda., who offered the first insights into the development of an evaluation tool for Awite gas measurement devices.
Foz do Iguaçu is also renowned for its spectacular waterfalls and for being home to one of the world’s largest hydroelectric power stations, jointly operated by Brazil and Paraguay: the Itaipú Hydroelectric Power Plant. With a daily electricity output of up to 274,000 MWh, it supplies around 10% of Brazil’s energy demand and up to 93% of Paraguay’s. A visit to the facility was therefore an absolute must.
