AwiView 2.0 - User Info

AwiView is used for getting (reading out), viewing, visualising and exporting data logged by your Awite system.



View Data

If you want to load data for viewing, please open the file 'root.cfg' on your Awite-CompactFlash-card or the CF-backup on your local hard disk (Menu File->Load data).

Using the tabs you can view the data:

Info: general device information (only availabe with advanced user levels)

Measured values: show values. The time interval for mean value calculation is selectable. If the time interval is set to zero raw values will be displayed. Different calculation methods can be selected with advanced user level settings. Multiple sensor selection is possible with pressed CTRL-Key. You can also browse forward and backwards, copy the data to the clipboard for further pasting and editing in your spreadsheet calculation.

Errors: view errors. The time span and kind of errors are selectable, you can also browse forward and backwards, copy the data to the clipboard for further pasting and editing in your spreadsheet calculation.

Events: view events. The time span and kind of events are selectable, you can also browse forward and backwards, copy the data to the clipboard for further pasting and editing in your spreadsheet calculation.

Plot: visualise data. Multiple sensor selection is possible with pressed CTRL-Key, the time interval is selectable.



Change Settings

Via the menu-option Options->Settings you can change the preferences settings that are used for loading and viewing data.



Get new data from device

For the update of the locally stored data from the device please use the menu File->Get new data from device.
For establishing the connection, the preferences settings are used (Options->Settings).



Backup data from device

For a complete backup of the configuration and measured data of your Awite-Device please use the menu File->Device Backup. This option is available with advanced user level settings



Exit Program

Close AwiView2 with the menu option Exit.
